What happened in Brazil on 8th January 2023? Firstly, lets talk about Brazil. Brazil is the largest South American country and in Latin  America.  It is the fifth-largest country and the seventh-most populous country in the world. Its the world's fourth largest democracy. He was later arrested under corruption charges as part of a sweeping national investigation. The results of the first round came and none of the candidates got a majority of 50% so a second round was conducted in which da silva 50.9% of the total votes and Jair Bolsonaro got 49.1%.
